Starwings Basket verpflichten Nachwuchstalent Kamary Diakité
Die Starwings Basket freuen sich, die Verpflichtung von Kamary Diakité (19 Jahre) für die kommende Saison bekanntzugeben.
Der 2,03 Meter grosse Flügelspieler wechselt vom CNBS (Centre National du Basket Suisse) nach Birsfelden. Das CNBS ist die Nachwuchsmannschaft des Schweizer Basketballverbandes und bietet talentierten Schweizer Spielern optimale Ausbildungsbedingungen. Gleichzeitig tritt das Team in der Nationalliga B an.
Diakité spielte in der Saison 2022/23 noch für Hünibasket, bevor er zur Saison 2023/24 ins nationale Ausbildungsprogramm des CNBS wechselte. Der athletische Spieler ist auf den Positionen 3 und 4 einsetzbar und überzeugt insbesondere durch seine Explosivität, seine Schnelligkeit sowie seine aussergewöhnliche Sprungkraft.
Als Jugendnationalspieler gehört Kamary Diakité zu den vielversprechendsten Talenten seines Jahrgangs. Zu seinen persönlichen Zielen zählt es, sich in den kommenden Jahren für ein Engagement in der NCAA Division I in den USA zu empfehlen.

Starwings Basket Sign Promising Young Talent Kamary Diakité
Starwings Basket are pleased to announce the signing of Kamary Diakité (19) for the upcoming season.
The 2.03-meter-tall forward joins the club from CNBS (Centre National du Basket Suisse). CNBS is the Swiss Basketball Federation’s national development team, providing talented young Swiss players with optimal training and development opportunities while competing in the Swiss National League B.
Diakité previously played for Hünibasket during the 2022/23 season before joining the CNBS national development program ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. An athletic player capable of playing both the small forward (3) and power forward (4) positions, he stands out for his explosiveness, speed, and exceptional leaping ability.
As a Swiss youth international, Kamary Diakité is regarded as one of the most promising talents of his generation. One of his personal goals is to earn an opportunity to play NCAA Division I basketball in the United States in the coming years.
Starwings are convinced that Kamary is an excellent fit for the organization both on and off the court and look forward to supporting him in the next stages of his development.
